Today, the criminal trial of Ovagimyan Arutyun Yurikovich and Kazaryan Karen Ashotovich, military servicemen who are citizens of Armenia and are accused of violating the state border of Azerbaijan and committing serious crimes, began in the Sumgayit Court of Serious Crimes, APA reports.

It was announced today at the Sumgayit Court of Serious Crimes, presided over by judge Fahmin Khumbatov, that the accused persons were provided with an interpreter and a lawyer at the expense of the state.

Later, the judge explained their rights to them.

The preparatory session of the court will be held today under the chairmanship of Judge Fahmin Khumbatov.

Note that the sabotage group of the Armenian armed forces violated the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan and was suppressed on May 26, on the section of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, passing through the territory of the Zangilan region.
