In alignment with the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” and in conjunction with Azerbaijan’s role as the host for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has emphasized the importance of understanding the impact of climate change on human rights and is spearheading efforts to raise awareness on this critical issue, Azernews reports.
