BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 14. A senior Hamas official announced the radical Palestinian movement’s decision to stop ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip due to Israel’s position, Trend reports.
“Hamas Politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh briefed mediators and regional stakeholders in a series of phone calls about the movement’s decision to end negotiations,” the Hamas representative noted.
He explained this intention by Israel’s allegedly “frivolous attitude” to the negotiations and “mass killings of civilians.”
