Occupying pivotal roles as a member of the World Alpagut Federation Executive Board and the President of the International Turan Games Committee, Alizade has channeled his dynamic leadership and unwavering dedication towards revolutionizing the Alpagut landscape.
He also regularly sponsors Alpagut seminars and trainings, publishes and distributes brochures and publications in the Alpagut area and contributes to increasing interest in the field of sports in the country. All this testifies to the scale of Farid Alizade’s participation in sports and socio-political processes in Azerbaijan and World, as well as to the significance of his personality.
Alizade’s vision for Alpagut is a global one, successfully organising and sponsoring three World Alpagut Championships and three World Alpagut Cups, attracting high-profile sponsors and catapulting Alpagut onto the international stage.
His influence has extended to the National Yaylag Festival, a segment of the Turan Games in Azerbaijan, which has been celebrated twice with his active participation. The festival, drawing a crowd of over 200,000 people and coverage from elite news agencies such as Anadolu Agency, featured Alpagut prominently, thereby bolstering its reach and popularity.
