Aghdaban community and Azerbaijani NGO representatives addressed the international community with an open letter, APA reports.

The letter states:

“We – peaceful Azerbaijani residents who were subjected to the genocide of Armenian military units on April 7-8, 1992 in Agdaban village of Kalbajar, live witnesses of the mass massacre, people who lost their family members, relatives, and homes in that event and representatives of the civil society of Azerbaijan, open to you. We demand justice by writing a letter!

Following the Khojaly genocide, more than 130 houses were burned and 779 villagers were killed during the massacre committed by Armenia against the civilian population in Agdaban village of Kalbajar on the night of April 7-8, 1992. During the tragedy, 32 people were brutally murdered, 8 old people, 2 young children, and 7 women were burned alive. 2 people went missing and 5 people were taken hostage.”
